Khmelnitsky military ammunition auction contributed UAH1 million ($200,000), Defense Muinistry press office reported. The ammunition was taken from the surplus depot which was formed after the reformation of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The truck vehicles GAZ-66 and ZiL-130 were much in demand.
The procedure of purchase looks that way: private person is to pay UAH25 ($5), a juridical one – UAH50 ($10). When it is done the purchaser may choose a lot and bid it in accordance with auction’s terms. After the purchase the new owner pay 10% of lot’s cost to Khmelnitsky Commodity Exchange and the rest of the sum he must pay during the next three days.
The money from the auction will be spent for social project and housing construction especially for military men and their families, the press office reports.
As a reminder the auction was conducted on October 25. 160 vehicles and engineer technologies and over 4,400 ammunition of different kind were displayed for the auction.
Ukroboronleasing National Company is charged to conduct the auction.
