Alexander Veshnyakov, chairman of Russian Central Electoral Commission, told at the press conference in Moscow, that Russian government will not ban Ukraine to open new polling stations in Russia for conduct of parliamentary elections-2006.

According to Vesnyakov, the elections in Ukraine may be complicated, judging by the marginal situation existing in Ukraine.

Alexander Vesnyakov stressed as far as Russia has not got yet any official request from Ukraine it cannot be discussed.

He noted that Russia has approached to Ukrainian Foreign Ministry with request concerning opening of polling stations in Ukraine in localities, where Russian citizens compactly reside.
