The President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko greets the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski

Ina telephone conversation with the newly elected Polish President, Lech Kaczynski, Victor Yushchenko said Poland was successfully building democracy and congratulatedthe counterpart on his victory, wishing him much success to democratically develop society.

In his turn, Kaczynski reiterated that, as President of Poland, he found democratic changes vital for his country and assured Yushchenko that one of the aims of his foreign policy would be topromote democracy in neighboring countries. He said Ukraine would remain their strategic partner. They spoke on Monday. Yushchenko also sent a greeting telegram to the President.
