The President of European Integration and Development Institute Dmitry Vydrin made an appraisal of Timoshenko’s statement about possible bloc BYT-NSNU. He explained that these two parties had many in common from political and economic points of view.
According to him, the surroundings of Yushchenko and Timoshenko were guilty in the division. “I think that being afraid to lose the power and influence their surrounding tried to prevent seamless cooperation of these two political forces (NSNU and BYT) and these leaders (Yushchenko and Timoshenko),” commented Vydrin.
To Vydrin’s opinion, Yushchenko and Timoshenko are aware of their importance for each other. “I think this union not only real but inevitable as well,” concluded Vydrin.
