Ukrainian Ambassador to Ireland Yevhen Perelyhin met with Irish Speaker Rory O'Hanlon on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry's press service told.
The Irish Speaker noted favorable prospects for deepening the interparliamentary cooperation between the countries. Rory O'Hanlon stated the Irish Dail's readiness to provide Ukraine with all needed support during fulfillment of political and economic reforms, necessary for reaching criteria of joining the EU. According to Rory O'Hanlon, we should expect improvement of economic and investment cooperation between the countries, including infrastructure projects' fulfillment.
The Ukrainian Ambassador stated his gratitude to the Irish Speaker for supporting Ukraine's Eurointegration aspirations and showing interest for further cooperation with Ukraine.
