Today in the Ukraine's parliament MPs have turned down the amendments and proposals to the state budget-2006, worked out by the budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

Only 179 deputies, out of 226 necessary, supported the amendments.

Besides, MPs postponed the consideration of the budget bill to November 1 by 306 votes.

“We did not pass the budget bill in its first reading,” concluded Vice Speaker of VR Adam Martinyuk.
