After the robbery of Lviv Archive, the ancient city was shocked with another crime. The thieves stole print rarities from Lviv Stefanik’s Library, Les Tanyuk the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture reported.
The problem of two robberies investigation is laid in the wrong path of searches: the law enforcement agencies focus on the executors of the crime instead of the very clients of it.
According to Tanyuk, these facts prove only one thing that the state museum funds will be robbed again and again until the government will take care of them under its own control.
The officials of Stefanik’s Library demand the General Office of Public Prosecutor to investigate the crime.
