Ukrainian Foreign Minister revolts with the WTO Director General's statement

Boris Tarasuk the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that a statement expressed by WTO Secretary General Pascal Lami on Ukraine will not be able to join the WTO through 2005's close is incorrect and irresponsible, the First Deputy Minister Anton Buteyko informs in today’s briefing.

According to him, negative statements by high officials on Ukraine are inadmissible and irresponsible. He expressed his hope that there will be no such statements in the future, referring to "international officials should always keep in mind the code of international official".
