French and Ukrainian military departments have signed the Cooperation Program-2006, the press service of the Defense Ministry informs.
The document was signed during the visit of Ukrainian military representatives to France within the framework of the X Conference of Ukraine-France Commission for Military Cooperation.
Yuri Samoleynko the head of Ukrainian delegation stated that the negotiations were held in friendly and constructive atmosphere. It benefited to achieve agreements concerning the wide circle of mutual ties and initiatives.
In particular, the results of the meeting concern the following range of the questions: the active dialogue between headquarters of Ukrainian and French Armed Forces; the exchange of the experience in the field of organization and realization of combat training, language learning and professional improvement.
France agreed also to assist Ukraine in utilization of ammunition and share the experience of mine cleaning.
