Victor Yushchenko and Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk met with Foreign Minister Per Stig Moeller of Denmark to discuss trade and investment cooperation and ways to jointly rehabilitate Iraq.
The Head of State confessed that he appreciated Ukrainian-Danish relations and said he was convinced that the Danish Embassy would “make communication between the two countries more dynamic.”
In his turn, the Foreign Minister said Ukraine was obviously developing its democracy and added that he welcomed these democratic changes. Denmark also supports the initiative to give Ukraine a market economy status.
Then the sides discussed the current political situation in Ukraine.
