Driving licenses of new European standards will be issued

Driving licenses of new European standards will be issued to drivers, which will cost 70 UAH, the Internal Minister Yuri Lutsenko said during his speech in the Parliament on the Day of Govt on Accidents on Ukrainian roads and measures taken to reduce them. According to Lutsenko, drivers will be allowed to use both old and new standard licenses, Cabinet's press office reported.

He also said that within the near time, driving tests will be recorded on video. The launch of such a system is being prepared. It is though delayed, as the funds are primarily raised for acquisitions of speed radars, Yuri Lutsentko said.
