Negotiations between the Ukrainian and Croatian Foreign Ministries were staged in Zagreb. As the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's official spokesman Vasily Filipchuk told a Tuesday news briefing, the negotiations resulted in simplification of the regime of travels by Ukrainian and Croatian citizens, Cabinet's press office reported.

The delegations completely adjusted a draft agreement between the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine and the Croatian Government on reciprocal travels by the two countries' citizens, which provides for non-visa regime for holders of diplomatic, service, seaman passports, air crew and rescuer service members and extension of the period of multi-visas to five years for members of families of those, who constantly reside on the territories of the two parties and some other citizens. The agreement envisages cancellation of visas for students, pupils and intergovernmental cultural exchange programs, academics, participants in exchanges between twin-cities and in sport competitions.
