As NSDC Secretary Anatoly Kinakh told a press conference, his meeting earlier in the day with Alexander Shokhin, president of the Russian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, largely dealt with bipartite cooperation in the fuel-energy sector, particularly with regard to transit transportation of Russian petroleum and natural gas via Ukraine.

In Kinakh's opinion, Ukraine must sign, as soon as possible, a long-term agreement with Russia on terms of transit transportation of Russian, carbohydrate fuels.

Anatoiy Kinakh reiterated Ukraine's intention to press for further development of the Eurasian fuel transportation route, in particular, its Odesa - Brody segment.

According to Kinakh, he and Aleksandr Shokhin decided that the mixed investment council convene its maiden session in Kiev.
