Victor Yushchenko met with Education and Science Minister Stanislav Nikolayenko to discuss this year’s priorities.
The Minister particularly informed the Head of State of a five-year concept to develop education and a state program on information and communication technologies in education and science.
Then they discussed necessary measures to introduce a testing system and ways to establish 860 testing centers throughout Ukraine.
Humanitarian Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko and Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Ivan Vasyunyk attended the meeting.
Yesterday, Yushchenko held consultations with several other Ministers to discuss their duties. The Head of State already met with Finance Minister Victor Pynzenyk, Industrial Minister Vladimir Shandra, Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and Fuel and Energy Minister Ivan Plachkov.
This week, the President is going to hold more consultations and meetings, therefore he cancelled a visit to Croatia.
