“To serve in army is not an occupation for women,” announced General-Colonel Sergey Kirichenko in the interview for “Voysko Ukrainy” (Army of Ukraine) magazine.
“The fewer women serve in army the better it will be for state, for Army and for women themselves,” stated Kirichenko.
“I cannot apprehend Hollywood movies with women running with machine-guns. To my opinion, it contradicts to the nature,” pointed out General-Colonel of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
But he also mentions that for now Ukrainian Army cannot do without women. “There are some occupations in Army which are successfully executed only by women. The telephone girl is an example of it. However, the newest technologies must substitute them as soon as possible,” added Kirichenko.
