There are no problems with the language issue in Ukraine and the situation is rather calm, Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov said in Brussels in response to foreign journalists' questions on the PACE Wednesday session, which focused on the Ukrainian issue. "Ukraine is a democratic state and we proved it many times", the Ukrainian Premier said, commenting on Russian deputies' statements with regard to infringement of the rights of the Russophone population in Ukraine.
Commenting on reasons of failure to uncover the Gongadze case so far, Premier Yekhanurov said that this is the matter of the Prosecutor Office and the Court, and the Government cannot interfere in it. But, in his opinion, it is sad that there is no answer to the painful for every Ukrainian question so far.
