Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov stated his readiness to surrender his mandate as the NSNU (People's Union Our Ukraine) chairman at a press conference by way of commenting on the President's request to form an apolitical Government.
"I'm not going to surrender my deputy mandate, but I will resign my mandate as the NSNU chairman. We have already chosen the acting chairman", the Prime Minister said.
In turn, the President noted that under the Government's depolitization he meant the Government's members apathy to politics. "A politician with no ideology is hard to imagine, but he should not be engaged in politics, otherwise we will never manage to solve the problem of separating politics from Administrative resource ", Viktor Yushchenko said.
Victor Yushchenko stated his intention to separate the Government from the administrative resource. No national funds will be raised for the elections from now on, he said.
