Within the framework of preparations for his coming visit to the USA Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov held a meeting with US Ambassador to Ukraine John E. Herbst.
Mr Herbst was the first foreign envoy to meet with Yuri Yekhanurov after the latter became Prime Minister.
During the meeting the Ambassador conveyed a letter to Yuriy Yekhanurov from President George Bush with the US President's congratulations on having been appointed Ukraine's Prime Minister, the Cabinet's press office reported.
