During his visit to Brussels, slated for October 6 and 7, 2005, Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov is supposed to meet with the EuroCommission's and NATO's leaders, President of the EuroCommission Jose Manuel Barroso, the EU's High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana and the Euro Commission's Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, the EU representative's press office told.

During the meetings the focal points of Ukraine-EU relationships, fulfillment of Ukraine's-EU Action Plan, Ukraine's integration and the Ukraine-EU Summit are expected to be discussed.

On October 3, the Prime Minister was expected to participate in the economic conference "Ukraine Looks Into Future: Under Reformation" and make a speech on the policy of reformation in Ukraine.

On October 7, Yuri Yekhanurov is supposed to visit NATO's HQ and meet there with Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and the representatives of the North-Atlantic Council. During this meeting the parties are supposed to consider matters of bipartite cooperation, NATO Action Plan and pressing matters of international politics, NATO's press-service told.

NATO is looking forward to this visit, as it will enable us to get familiar with Yuri Yekhanurov's views on Ukraine's-NATO cooperation, NATO's representative told.
