According to President Victor Yushchenko's official web site, the Head of State has issued a direction toward enhancing the Ukrainian economy's competitiveness in the process of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The document instructs the Cabinet, the NBU to analyse the economy's competitiveness and specify conditions, which are necessary for the economy's efficient performance, by late 2005.
The Government and the NBU will have to compile an analytical report, named "Competitive Ukraine," and organise the document's public discussion.
The direction also provides for drafting and endorsing, within 2006's first half, The State Program of securing the Ukrainian economy's competitiveness.
