Three young people replicated collections “History of orange revolution” on infringing DVD, as reported by NTN TV channel.

According to the channel, “fakes were duplicated in one-room apartment in one of Kiev’s district. The apartment was rented by two guys and a girl.

There was a monitor in the room, on which pirates were looking through their records. The kitchen was reequipped for replication of CDs. With the help of three system blocks cine amateur duplicated about 200 disks per week.”

“With this gear pirates replicated well-known collection of orange events, sticking on Victor Yushchenko’s portraits. Other labels were printed with two modern printers,” NTN reported.

The channel asserts that “finished fakes were sold on city markets at 25 hryvnias (5$). Every week the pirates gained about five thousand.”

Except for fakes, it was also found 300 original disks.

Rights to brands of “orange revolution” belong to Andrey Yushchenko, the President’s son. For violation of copyright the young people face a big fine. The law machinery authorities say the pirates may be given a chance to redeem their fault by means of two-year correctional labour.
