Ukraine took the tragic news about the October 1 terrorist attacks on Bali tourism resorts that caused numerous human loss with anxiety and deep indignation, a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
Ukraine strongly condemned the attacks, which once again confirmed a serious threat for all humankind on the part of terrorism and an urgent need to seek efficient ways in combating this cruel challenge to humanity. As the statement said, Ukraine resolutely condemns terrorism in its all manifestations and forms and urges on the world community to enhance interactions in fighting this barbarous phenomenon.
Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Borys Tarasyuk sent a letter of condolences to Indonesian Foreign Minister Hasan Wirajuda in connection with the terrorist attacks, Cabinet's press office reported.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was reported to keep on monitoring the situation with regard to the blasts on Bali. As of Sunday, there were no Ukrainian citizens among victims in the explosions.
