October 1 Victor Yanukovich made his first, after the presidential elections, journey to Western Ukraine, as reported in Yanukovich’s press office.
In particular, he visited Transcarpathian and Lvov regions, met with citizens of several cities, placed flowers on monument to “Evokers of Spirits” in Striy, visited Truskavets.
In Lvov Victor Yanukovich visited “Southern” Complex, congratulated teachers with their professional holiday, in particular, education veterans, who lectured the Russian language in Galichina region.
Besides, during the meetings, citizens of Western Ukraine expressed satisfaction concerning reconciliation between two leaders (Yushchenko and Yanukovich – ed.), who managed to agree for the sake of stability and unity in the country.
