Moscow has drawn conclusions from its behavior during the last presidential elections in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Presidential Secretariat's head Oleg Rybachuk said.

He was addressing Ukrainian journalists after featuring on a program on the Ekho Moskvy radio station.

According to him, Russia is "no longer working with a single political party."

He said that this was also confirmed by the visit to Moscow by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko.

According to him, the most important thing is that there is a competition in Russia not on how to influence Ukraine but on how to work with it.

He siad that he held several informal meetings during his two-day unofficial visit to Moscow, but he declined to name the people he met.

According to him, he met with analysts who have a good knowledge of the events in Ukraine, are familiar with the previous structure of the Ukrainian Presidential Secretariat, and fall under the category "Russian presidential institution."

Rybachuk also said that Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov's September 30 visit to Russia would be a familiarization visit.

According to him, it is not the type of visit that should end with some agreements.

Rybachuk participated in events marking Ekho Moskvy's fifteenth anniversary.
