Ukraine's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva Borys Zakharchuk and Director of the External Trade Department of the Icelandic Foreign Ministry Gretar Mar Sigurdsson signed a memorandum on access to markets of goods and services within the negotiating process of Ukraine's accedence to World Trade Organization, the Ukrainian Economics Ministry's press office informed.

Iceland is the 38th member-state of the working group for considering Ukraine's accession to the WTO to sigh the protocol with Ukraine.

Active bipartite negotiations with ten other members of the group, including the USA, Australia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Croatia, Panama, Ecuador, Egypt and Taiwan, are underway and near to completion, except for Australia.
