Mikhail Brodsky proposes the family of President Victor Yushchenko to resign the right to the symbolism of “Orange revolution” in connection with the signing of Memorandum of cooperation with the leader of Party of Regions Victor Yanukovich.
“Having signed the agreement with Yanukovich, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has rehabilitated all falsifiers of presidential elections 2004 (and exactly these falsifications caused the orange revolution). In this connection I ask you to resign you right to the symbolism of Maidan and to give it to Kiev-Mogilyanska Academy,” pointed out Brodsky, as reported in his press office.
According to Brodsky, Kiev-Mogilyanska Academy has much more moral right to Maidan’s symbolism as it was the first establishments of Ukraine, which openly supported orange revolution and tried to help to defend the choice of Ukraine’s citizens.
