Norway is ready to assist Ukraine to get as quick as possible NATO membership, deputy Director General of Department for Security Policy and Bilateral Relations with the USA and Canada and Russia and other CIS countries Leif Larsen reported.
According to Larsen, the prominent Norwegian experts reckon that Ukraine needs as quick as possible to reform defense and law enforcement agencies.
“It must be done because it is the only way to get into NATO,” stated Larsen adding that Norway stands for development relations with Ukraine in social, political and economic spheres.
Larsen mentioned that Ukrainian companies owning corresponding technologies may take part in tenders and in Norwegian oil engineering.
