Today US military delegation headed Lieutenant Colonel Richard Miller has come to Ukraine.
Defense Ministry press service reported that he target of the visit is to represent security systems of NATO air forces to Ukrainian pilot-experts of air security and to discuss the problems of compatibility NATO and Ukrainian air security systems.
The working meetings of Ukrainian and US representatives were held in Vinnitsa Headquarter of Ukrainian Air Forces. Ukrainian delegation was headed by Colonel Sagit Ziannurov.
US pilots conducted trainings with Ukrainian military men. The trainings, in particular, consisted of organization of commander’s work concerning the security of flight, preparation of air crew and demands to its work, planning and providing of the flights, investigations of plane crashes, security of radio equipment and other subjects. More than thirty Ukrainian experts attended the master-classes.
The agenda of the visit consisted of excursion to the base of the Ukrainian Airspace Medicine Center. The visit will last till September 29.
