As Presidential Secretariat Head Oleg Rybachuk told a Friday news briefing in Kiev, Prosecutor General Svyatoslav Piskun did not notify President Victor Yushchenko about the need for carrying out an expertise in Ukraine, which was necessary for starting an investigation into the President's poisoning.

Neither the Security Service Chairman, nor the Prosecutor General told the President about the need to have a legal document, which would result in establishing the poisoning fact in Ukraine, Rybachuk noted.

According to Oleg Rybachuk, the President was surprised to hear about this from Ihor Drizhchany, the new chief of the Security Service, and Svyatoslav Piskun was present at that meeting.

The President never refused to give samples at his body's tissues because neither PGO officers nor the Prosecutor General told him about the need to carry out an expertise in Ukraine.

Replying to the journalists' question about whether this will result in the President's steps with regard to Svyatoslav Piskun, Oleg Rybachuk said such steps may be expected, same as the Verkhovna Rada's response.
