British Prime Minister Tony Blair will participate in a Ukraine - EU summit slated for December 1 in Kiev, acting Minister for Foreign Affairs Borys Tarasyuk told a press conference in Kiev Thursday.
According to him, the fact of holding the summit in Kiev is very positive, as it will likely become a remarkable event not only in relations between Ukraine and the EU, but in Ukraine's relations with Great Britain, as well.
As Tarasyuk noted, in his opinion, Ukraine will be granted the market economy nation status before the Ukraine - EU summit, as the "process drew near the final stage".
