According to a diplomat with Ukraine's Representation to the EU, Ukraine - EU hi-tech cooperation will benefit the Ukrainian aircraft making industry.
The diplomat thus commented on a Tuesday meeting in Brussels of the High-Level Group for developing pan-European transportation infrastructures.
The meeting discussed, among other subjects, the GALILEO satellite navigational system's employment to enhance safety and efficacy on rail, air and marine traffic.
The High-Level Group's next meeting will be held in October 15.
By December 2005 the group is supposed to polish their report to the European Commission.
According to the Ukrainian diplomat, Ukraine suggested to consider five major projects in the transnational transportation area.
