The European Commission has adopted recommendations to the Council of Europe with regard to starting talks with Ukraine about short-term, up to 3 months, Shengen visas.
The parties' future agreement to this effect will specify all practical matters, such as the amounts of fees for issuance of visas, visa issuance procedures, the list of documents, necessary for getting visas, as well as criteria, which applicants for multiple use visas should meet.
According to Euro Commission sources, the recommendations are expected to be shortly okeyed by the EuroCouncil.
