The other day, leader of Communistic Party of Ukraine Petr Simonenko declared that $60 million, allocated by US Congress, were used for financing Yushchenko’s election campaign.
US Embassy to Ukraine refutes accusations of Ukrainian communists. As reported in the Embassy, US Congress allocated $60 million as technical help for conducting economical and democratic reforms. The means were allocated May 10, 2005 as addition to state budget for current year, what was in several months after presidential elections had finished.
