September 16, 2005 it is five years since Ukrainian journalist Georgy Gongadze disappeared. His murder, which caused a great political scandal, has not been detected till now.
Today, at Tarashcha village, where the body, allegedly belonged to the journalist, was found, a mass-meeting, devoted to this sorrowful date, will be held.
In the evening, participants of the action will form a live chain from Kreahchatik Street through Maidai to Secretariat of President and will organize funeral procession in Gongadze’s memory.
Georgy Gongadze has been rewarded posthumous with the Hero of Ukraine Star. Gongadze’s body has not been committed to the earth until now.
