As Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkowski told journalist in Kiev on Monday, the main purpose of his activity is to promote strengthening of ties between the Ukrainian and Polish peoples. According to him, after the Orange Revolution everything has changed, Ukraine and Poland proceeded from declarations about strategic partnership to real steps to cooperation, both in the political and economic spheres.
Poland has always been and will always be adherent of Ukraine's European integration, the envoy stressed. "Ukraine needs European perspective for successively implementing internal reforms. Jacek Kluczkowski aired his conviction that after the Ukraine - EU Action Plan concludes in 2008 Ukraine will get associate membership status and a free-trade-zone between Ukraine and the European Union will be established.
