The price is the sticking point of negotiations between Naftogaz Ukraine and Gazprom Russia. Russian gas supply to Ukraine is the subject of the meeting of two states.
Current agreements fix gas price at the level of $50 per 1,000 cubic meters. Ukraine gets for transit $1.09 per 1,000 cubic meters for 100 km.
Russia considers raising the price - $180 per 1,000 cubic meters. Kiev in turns will raise transit price - $2.25 per 1,000 cubic meters for 100 km. It is expensive for Ukraine because Russian gas makes 1/3 of total gas usage of Ukraine.
The first who will suffer form such actions will be Ukrainian enterprises purchasing gas by $72-75 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The experts predict that rising of gas price will push an inflation and price rise of major part of industrial goods.
