Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Litvin considers that the dismissal of Yulia Timoshenko’s Cabinet is not a crisis of the power, however is evidence of the crisis of the government. He made such statement in New-York, commenting on the dismissal of Cabinet, VR press-service reported to ForUm.
Speaker underlined that there is no needed to comment on the dismissal. He reminded it is the 11th government, which left the post against its will, but was fired.
Litvin pointed out that “there is certain instability in the Ukrainian society.” He said it is needed to speak about risks, which can appear, and “to make the best to minimize them.”
According to Litvin words, it is necessary to support Yushchenko’s position. As soon as President offers the new candidature for the post of PM, it is needed to consider and approve it immediately. After this, it is needed to give the new Premier an opportunity to form a team, which will be able to provide stable development of Ukraine before March 2006 (parliamentary elections – ed.).
