Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine proposes to ban import of genetically modified soy.
Ivan Demchak the first deputy of Agrarian Minister coming out in the II International Conference “Sell Together!” stated that Ministry intends to introduce a corresponding motion on soy export to Verkhovna Rada.
He explained such Ukraine’s position as the intention to obtain the status of the state with ecologically clean production.
Demchak reported that the creation of laboratory detecting genetically modified products is approaching to the end.
