Chemical burial ground with hundreds of bags, filled with unknown mixture, and thousands of metal flasks, filled with liquid of brown colour, which starts to corrode the metal, were found in flanks of hill Kai Basha, Balaclava region, by Sevastopol ecologists and deputies.
According to data from Sevastopol regional state TV and Radio Broadcaster, “there was a military object, after which barbed wire and concrete casemates, filled with chemicals, remained.”
Having inspected the territory of burial ground, ecologists took samples for further examination. As declared Elena Tarasyuk, specialist of the city ecology department, according to the city ecological program, this territory is considered among potential places for formation of regional landscape park “Heracleya”.
