VIII session of Verkhovna Rada of forth convocation is to be open today by Vladimir Litvin the chairman of the parliament.
The deputies are to work according to plenary regime. The agenda of the session will be under discussion of the deputies. More than 1,000 drafts are in the agenda.
The main questions under discussion are focused on protection of social and cultural objects of countryside, village schools, reconstruction of old block of buildings, economic and social policy, improvement of populated area and transfer of technologies.
The politicians and analysts state that the VIII session will be influenced by the parliamentary elections-2006. Presidential proposal concerning the raise of lowest passing barrier is expected to be passed by the deputies.
