Vladimir Litvin Speaker of Verkhovna Rada and Shigeo Katsu Vice-President of the World Bank Europe and Central Asia Region have discussed the items concerning the cooperation of the World Bank and the World Bank.
Litvin mentioned that Verkhovna Rada is ready to examine agreements with the World Bank but the government of Ukraine must reduce its procedures of examining of the corresponding documents.
Shigeo Katsu agreed that the procedures of project coordination need to be reduced because of ineffectiveness of the process in general.
Litvin stated that Verkhovna Rada must thoroughly examine all drafts of the Cabinet under condition of strict observance of time-limit. He also added that there are not any proper explanations of pro and cons of entrance into WTO for Ukraine.
We remind that on September 4, Shigeo Katsu came to Ukraine for negotiations with Ukrainian power on the cooperation with the World Bank.
