From August 22 till September 1, eleven persons were hospitalized in Lukovoe village, Donetsk region. The diagnosis is viral hepatitis type A.
There are six children among the patients. All infected persons were hospitalized in the infectious ward of the Central District Hospital. The status of the patients is slight degree of severity.
The preliminary data prove that the infection was caused by drinking water of central water supply.
The sanitary control experts provide preventive and antiepidemic measures in the region.
