Today XV Hutsul Festival has been opened in Rakhov. It will last till September 4. The ensembles from Ivano-Frankovsk, Chernovtsy, Lviv and Zakarpatye regions take part in the event.

The international scientific and practical conference “Ecological and Social-political Aspects of Protection of Carpathian Ethnic Culture and History” is on today agenda. The commemorative plaque in memory of Mikhail Barabola Ukrainian poet-satirist is established in Dilove village.

Tomorrow lots of contests will be held within the framework of the fest. Folk, dance, ethnic music, artists, exhibitions, cinema and photo galleries all that will be on tomorrow agenda.

On September 4, Hutsul Brynza festival will be held in Rakhov.
