The Cabinet is on the threshold of elections-2006. It charged corresponding departments to conduct necessary arrangements concerning the completing of electoral rolls.
In particular, local authorities and Ministry for Foreign Affairs were charged with formation of working groups for registration of voters. The working groups will complete and specify the general electoral roll. Ukrainian citizens living abroad and in Ukraine will be registered here.
The State Budget is to finance the works for preparation to the elections-2006.
Ministry of Justice, Defense Ministry and the State Department on Execution of Penalties were charged to specify responsible persons for controlling the working groups.
Exterior Ministry and local authorities must monthly render an account to the Cabinet and Central Electoral Commission of results of the work.
