Oleg Skripka rejects title Honored Art Worker of Ukraine

The leader of Vopli Vidoplyasova the famous Ukrainian rock group has rejected the title Honored Art Worker of Ukraine. The title had to be presented to Oleg Skripka on the 14th anniversary of Independence Day of Ukraine.

Skripka stated in the press conference that his rejection is the method to make the new power to hear those who were on Maydan in Orange revolution. Nowadays, the power “often discredits itself.” According to him, he would not want the previous regime to repeat once again. He wants to prevent those who were backed by him to turn into “kuchmizm.”
