Prosecutor General of Ukraine Svyatoslav Piskun declares that the ex-major of State Guard Nickolay Melnichenko has not been interrogated yet by the US law machinery.
He declared about it in an interview to journalists in Kiev before the departure for Copenhagen for international conference of prosecutors.
According to Piskun, Melnichenko changed his lawyers and would be interrogated in the nearest future.
As a reminder, on August 25 Piskun declared that Melnichenko gave evidence concerning "Gongadze case" in American court.
"Melnichenko appeared before the court yesterday," said Prosecutor on the briefing, having added that the former major had answered all 86 questions, given to American court by General Office of Public Prosecutor of Ukraine.
