Law machinery of Kharkov region brought a row of criminal cases against Evgeny Kushnarev, as reported by Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Yuri Lucenko.
According to him, except for abuse of power, Kushnarev is accused of abuse of finances, granted for Kharkov metropolitan, illegal delivery of license for oil production in Sakhalin field (Kharkov region), illegal privatization of a building in Kharkov by a fund, which provided the former governor with vehicles.
Besides, Kushnarev is suspected of abuse of official post concerning "unpurposeful" use of means, given for needs of "close for Kushnarev football team."
According to Lucenko, the former governor can be accused of illegal allotment of land lots as well. Lucenko stressed that there is a signature of Kushnarev on such documents.
Lucenko pointed out that, first of all, criminal proceedings can be instituted against Kushnarev on suspects of embezzlement of state means, and only then on charges of separatism.
