Chairman of Lugansk regional council Victor Tikhonov has sent an official letter to Governor Aleksey Danilov, in which he has told that in case the portrait of Leonid Kuchma, taken away before, is not placed back he will bring a criminal action "for larceny of state property."
It was reported by Zinovy Guzar, the deputy chief of regional state administration.
"Such actions confirm that his activity during the meeting in Severodonetsk was not a chance (participants of that meeting are accused of separatism – ed.). I am sorry for Lugansk region… Its chairman of the council is charmed with Kuchma so much, that he hates our patriotism," stated Guzar.
He said it would be interesting for him to watch the actions of Tikhonov in this case.
