Today Victor Yushchenko President of Ukraine arrived to Poltava region for visiting National Sorochinskaya fair.
The country’s head will take part in solemn opening of the fair, which will work till August 21.
The fair in Great Sorochintsi is a single state fair in Ukraine; since 1999 it has the status of national one. The aim of the fair is to stimulate business activity, development of economic ties between the regions, coverage and propaganda of national producers’ achievements. More than one million people attend the fair annually.
