According to operative data as of August 12, Ukraine's farmers collected 28.503 million tones of early grains and pulses. The crops have been harvested from 83 percent of forecast area, reports Agrarian Policy Ministry of Ukraine.
Wheat has been cut from 5.93 million hectares (89 percent of the forecast). The crop as of today has totaled 18.13 million tones at an average yield of 3.07 tones per hectare.
Barley harvest has been completed on 3.866 million hectares (86 percent). The farmers obtained 8.47 million tones at a yield of 2.22 tones per hectare.
Rapeseed is harvested from 132,200 hectares (64 percent of the forecast). The rapeseeds crop has totaled 216,100 tones. The yield has averaged 1.65 tones per hectare, Agrimarket reported.
